Thanks for watching. I'm sorry there were so many editing cuts in this video. I wanted to talk and talk and the video was 15 minutes so I had to cut out a lot of yapping. If you put the entire glaze on the cake it will be very much like a honey bun, sticky and gooey and good. 1 box (18.25 Oz. Box) Yellow Cake Mix 4 whole Eggs ( large ) 1 cup Sour Cream ¾ cups Vegetable Oil 1 cup Light Brown Sugar 2 teaspoons Cinnamon 2 cups Powdered Sugar 6 Tablespoons Milk 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. By hand, blend the cake mix, eggs, sour cream, and oil. In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour half of the cake batter into a greased 13×9 pan, spreading the batter out into a thin layer. Sprinkle half of the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture onto the 1st layer of the cake. Pour the rest of the cake batter on top of brown sugar/cinnamon layer. The last layer is the rest of the brown sugar/cinnamon. So you have a layer of batter, brown sugar/cinnamon, batter and brown sugar/cinnamon.
With a knife cut into the batter making a swirling pattern. Place the cake into the oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
Glaze-
Make your powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk glaze the last 5 minutes of the cake baking time. When the cake comes out of the oven pour immediately over the hot cake. Serve the cake warm or at room temperature.
James like this cake but said it needed more cinnamon and of course he would have liked all that glaze on there. LOL Hugs everyone.
