We all ask ourselves the question "How can I make a difference?" believing that our actions are insignificant, that in a world of 7 billion on the cusp of 8 billion, our actions as individuals are futile. However it’s the power of positive thoughts that can single-handedly promote the world to be a better place … Saira Munir is a seventeen year old, currently in her first year of a-levels at dhahran british grammar school in Saudi Arabia. Her studies in geography, history and economics have taught her the importance of taking action against climate change and alleviating poverty in an attempt to make the world a better place.
